Serenity... that's what it felt like
Serenity dragging itself beneath the waves at my fingertips...
Serenity that sinuously moved across my skin like silk...
That was the peace that I could not comprehend...

A quiver... and a small little flicker in the sea of stars...
Ripples in the water... whispers in the silence...
That is all that seemed to dance around the moonlight kingdom.
A ball to the sweetest fragrances of the obsidian rose...

A shiver now... as coldness grips the earth and chokes the wind.
Turbulent with fear... shuddering with sorrow...
The petals felt their way through the blinding darkness.
And she remained to observe her world swallowed by the looming sky...

I felt it... so pure...
So true in the mirror full of lies.
So naked before the piercing eyes.
So noble before the will full of gull...

I wept... and fell before the silent monument...
A testament to what she couldn't understand...
Her world... was not her own.
Yet she ruled over all that chaos with a righteous heart... coated in the sweetest of honey... and the most golden of lights.

She forgave me...
My ignorance... my oblivion... I couldn't see it.
But once I did...
Not even my flowing river of tears could truly be worthy of that which she showed me...

Like the drizzling rain...
Like the silent morning...
Like the beautiful sunset...
Her own wonder depicted a heavenly calm.... to which behind it, an awesome force beyond which any man or beast can truly understand...



Or be even worthy to see...
Only my heart, in the eternal sea of love , where infinite blue bears witness to the entropy of thought and mind was there to be with her
